ALUMNI HOUSE BEAUTIFICATiON PROJECT..................
Special Angels finished the Alumni House "Backyard Beautification Project". Greatly appreciate the work of Mark & Pam Mano, Marty Defatte with assistance form Dave Benjamin & Bill Dombrowski. Countless hours were spent on cutting the grass, spraying for weeds, removing weeds, laying mulch & the brick edging.

A cowboy in Oklahoma got pulled over by a State Trooper for speeding. The trooper started giving him a long lecture about slowing down, really throwing his weight around to make the cowboy squirm. As the trooper wrote the ticket, he kept swatting at flies buzzing around his head. The cowboy said, “Having trouble with circle flies, huh?” The trooper frowned. “Circle flies? Never heard of ’em.” The cowboy grinned. “They’re really common on ranches. We call ’em circle flies because they’re almost always found circling around a horse’s ass.” The trooper paused. “Wait a minute… are you calling me a horse’s ass?” The cowboy replied, “Oh no, sir! I’d never disrespect law enforcement like that.” The trooper nodded. “Glad to hear it,” and went back to writing. After a moment, the cowboy added, “Still… kinda hard to fool them flies though.” |

Jim Poulsen - is now at Siena Center for Rehab - he had fallen 4 times in a week at St. Monica's.
Jamie Davidson '75 is scheduled for Hip Replacement Surgery in near future.
Tom Konieczko successful Hip Replacement Surgery - doing well - no cane.
Terry Toll scheduled for Cataract Surgery.
Lloyd Tremmel is in need of our prayers - dealing with health issue.
Tom Miller's wife (Dan Miller's Mom) had recent back surgery now dealing with severe pain in her hip.
Dr Ron Kraus feel at home a number of weeks ago, broke his Femur - had surgery, received a plate and a few pins. Upon returning home, Doc spent 11 day sleeping in his recliner, now he's back to his bed - doing well, in good spirits - going for PT
Chris Gorman had his 6th Ankle Surgery Thursday Sept 4th in Chicago. Surgery was a success - time will tell - Chris is not to put weight on his foot for 6 weeks - we'll see how that goes.
Gary Schonert has a support on his right hand and a leg boot on his right leg ???
