The Caledonia Police Department, Caledonia Fire Department, and Caledonia Police Foundation will be at Swan's Pumpkin Farm on 10/24/26 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
During this event, children will compete for the best costume, can participate in pumpkin decorating, and of course candy will be handed out.

Trip Down Memory Lane............The Good Old Days
One of Racine's last "streetcars" is seen here heading south along the 700 block of Wisconsin Ave. around 1940 or so.
This car, with the route sign of "23rd St." will end its journey at the "Case South Works" plant at 23rd St. and Mead St.
The building in the background was the Rapid Transit building that was a terminal for the interurban rail lines and bus services between Milwaukee and Kenosha.
Some years later, it was a franchise store for Firestone with auto services and appliance sales.
That entire block was purchased by the County of Racine in the 1970's for the construction of the Racine County Law Enforcement Center

We recently celebrated our pet blessing for the NW Parishes of Racine - St Rita Catholic Church, St Paul the Apostle Catholic Church Racine, St. Mary By the Lake Catholic Church & St. Louis Catholic Church who hosted.
We had a great turn-out with 29 dogs, 1 cat, 1 bunny, and 1 cockatiel being blessed. There were pets that were back for their annual blessing and a few that were first timers. Our youngest pup was 4 months old and our most senior pups blessed were 18 & 19.
A special thank you to Deacon Jim and Kathy & Deacon Keith for your continued time, your blessings and for all of the puppy treats handed out afterwards as well.
