Point To Ponder.............

AMEN..........
At St Catherine's & Catholic schools, the nuns didn't need a ruler to check your skirt. Girls knelt on the floor or the steps, and if the hem didn't touch it, they were in trouble.
Some girls rolled the waistband up the minute they got off the bus, then rolled it right back down before homeroom. Did you ever get measured?

MADE IN RACINE - A REFRIGERATOR STILL IN USE
As a collector of old Racine memorabilia, most of the items in my collection for display only. However, I do have a few pieces that are still being used, including this Racine-made old icebox. Built by the Racine Refrigerator Company over a hundred years ago, I use it to keep my beer and soda bottles cool before moving them to our "real" fridge when needed. It is well-insulated, and looks great. Racine resident reporting

St. Bonaventure Prep School, also known as St. Bonaventure Minor Seminary and High School, was founded in 1901 in Pulaski, Wisconsin. Originally, the school's goal was to prepare Polish youth for the priesthood. The Franciscans who ran the school wanted a location to draw students from the larger Polish populations of Milwaukee and Chicago. In 1921, they moved to Sturtevant. As the years passed and interest in the priesthood decreased, the school's focus changed to preparing young men for college. In 1982, financial difficulties forced the school to decide to close after graduation the following year. In
1983, the school closed and eventually was converted into the Racine Correctional Institution

Sacred Heart Racine, WI. Have never seen an open ambry. It was a beautiful welcome into the church. The early build of the church was 12 arches representing the apostles. The addition to the back was 12 additional arches representing the tribes of Israel. We were thrilled with receiving both species at Saturday vigil.
