Friday and Saturday 8 Angel athletes (6 performers and 2 alternates) headed to UW-LaCrosse to participate in the WIAA state track and field meet. Each athlete performed extremely well. Two athletes were able to earn medals and make the podium as Jayvion Hunter finished 4th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.14 and Abel Mulder finished 5th in shotput with a throw of 52 feet, 0.5 inches. Girls Soccer (0-16 overall, 0-8 in Metro Classic Conference)
Thursday evening the girls soccer team traveled to Shoreland Lutheran for a WIAA regional tournament game. The Angels played their best soccer of the year and had the Pacers on their heels multiple times throughout the game. Unfortunately for the Angels though they wouldn’t have enough as they were defeated by the Pacers 7-0. Katelyn Gordon had a fantastic game in the goalie box as she was able to break her own record single game record with 34 saves. Ella Orth, Julianna Wilkey, Macieana Trujillo and Giaynah Garcia also played fantastic games.
