SPECIAL THANKS to Don Klemt and Lloyd Tremmel for sponsoring lunch today. Lloyd created a 1939 Wooden Cadillac Car that he raffled off at the Alumni House. Don Klemt purchased the car. Lloyd then donated the money raised by the raffle to the Alumni House "Kitty". Today, the "Kitty" sponsored lunch on their behalf.

Lunch was DeRango's Fried Chicken, Coleslaw, French Fries & Italian Bread. Rick Ropiak brought a case of Water, Charlie Presta brought a Kringle, Lloyd Tremmel brought a number of Reese's Peanut Butter Candy Bags. Gary Schonert brought two boxes of Candy Canes and a bag of Hand Warmers. Bill Horvath also brought a box of O&H Donuts.

ANGELS..................

Jan 15th - Jan 20th

Girls Basketball (4-13 Overall, 1-7 Metro Classic Conference)

Tuesday night the Angels hosted Racine Horlick in an intra-city battle. The Angels, while short handed, played extremely well all game long and held the lead from beginning to end to go on to defeat the Rebels 56-46. Aniyah Price led the way with 16 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds. Emmerson Davidovic and Kamora Hunter each added 12 points and 6 rebounds while Aniesa Neave had 7 points and a team leading 14 rebounds.

In a Metro Classic Conference matchup on Thursday night the Angels hosted Kenosha St. Joseph. The Angels kept the game close half way through the 2nd half, however in the end the Lancers would pull ahead to defeat the angels 64-39. Aniyah Price led the Angels with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Kaleah Conley added 10 points and 10 rebounds and Kamora Hunter had 9 points.


Boys Basketball (6-8 Overall, 4-3 Metro Classic Conference)

The Angels boys basketball team traveled to Burlington Tuesday night for a non-conference matchup. Regulation wasn’t enough time for these two teams as the game would go to overtime. In overtime there was very little scoring, but Lamont Hamilton found Adreyon Contreras-Ward at the buzzer to propel the Angels to a 53-51 victory. Hamilton led the team with 23 points, Eddie Vinson added 17 and Contreras-Ward had 8.

Friday night the Angels traveled to Kenosha St. Joseph for a Metro Classic Conference battle. For the 2nd time this week it would take a last second shot to win the game. As the buzzer blew Lamont Hamilton hit a contested 3 pointer to propel the Angels to a 37-34 victory. Hamilton led the Angels with 20 points and Eddie Vinson added 5.


Wrestling (10-12 overall, 1-2 Metro Classic Conference)

Friday night the St. Catherine’s/Lutheran wrestling team traveled to Martin Luther to participate in the Metro Classic Conference quad. The Angels went 1-2 on the night with a victory over Kenosha St. Joseph 54-24 but were handed defeats by Shoreland Lutheran (64-18) and Martin Luther (48-36). High performances of the night included Xavier Rodriguez (2-1, 1 pin), Daire Hankins (3-0, 2 pins), Demacio Trujillo (3-0, 3 pins), Luis Rivera (2-1, 1 pin), Alberto Rodriguez (2-1, 1 pin) and Alejandro Gomez-Garcia (2-1).


Swimming

The PSC Aquatics team traveled to Elkhorn on Tuesday night for a double dual with Elkhorn and Whitewater. The team swam extremely well but would fall to Whitewater in a narrow defeat 80-79 and to Elkhorn 105-61. Below are highlights from the evening, including 5 new team records that were set.

Racine St. Catherine’s Home Game Protocols and Procedures


  1. All tickets must be purchased ahead of time at http://spicket.events/schsangels, no cash will be accepted at the gate

  2. Ticket sales will open 1 week prior to each event

  3. Ticket sales close at 2:00pm the day of the event for varsity football games as well as JV2/JV/Varsity boys basketball games. Any individual(s) not purchasing tickets by 2:00pm will not be allowed into the game

  4. Tickets can be printed at home to be scanned at the event or shown in the Ticket Spicket app on cellular devices to be scanned. NO SCREENSHOTS ACCEPTED

  5. Gates/entrance close 30 minutes after the scheduled start time of the varsity event. Anyone not in the game at this time will not be allowed in

  6. Refunds will only be issued for ticket purchases if the event is canceled

  7. No re-entry to the event, once you leave you will not be allowed back in

  8. All middle/elementary school students must be with an adult

  9. Metro Classic Conference passes are still allowed at the gate for Metro Classic Conference games only, no digital ticket required. For Non-Conference Games, Metro Classic Conference passes are not accepted and a digital ticket is required

  10. 6 and under are free, no digital ticket required.

  11. St. Catherine’s students are free with school ID, no digital ticket required. If no ID, a purchased ticket will be required

  12. Siena employees are free with ID, no digital ticket required. If no ID, a purchased ticket will be required
