Dan Bentz was one of the original Charlie's Angel, a friend to all with a warm smile engaging personality and great sense of humor . Dan was a Talented Athlete, Gifted Artist and Dedicated Gardener. He was a great guy, who is missed by all at the Alumni House.

GREAT NEWS..............


  • Dan Kovara & Joe Osterman will be enjoying the "HONOR FLIGHT" in early November.

    A number of our Monday Vets have enjoyed the trip: Lloyd Tremmel, Mark Mano,

    Terry Toll, Marty Defatte to name a few.

Honor Flight is a non-profit service that provides free transportation for U.S. military veterans, particularly those from the World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War eras, to visit the national war memorials in Washington, D.C The trips are organized by local volunteers-run "hubs" under the Honor Flight Network, which provides support and guidelines for their activities. Funding for these trips come from donations, not government grants, allowing veterans to share in a day of gratitude and remembrance at no cost to them.

The RAMAC (Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce) Annual Membership Dinner is scheduled for Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 4:45 PM to 7:30 PM at the Fountain Banquet Hall, featuring cocktails, a networking session, a dinner, and a keynote speaker. 

Craig Thompson '87 Keynote Speaker and will be introduced by Classmate Dave Pettit '87.

  • The 25th Annual McGuire/Letsch Golf Scramble

    Jeff Pulda '71 wanted to honor the memory of John McGuire, Legendary SCHS basketball coach. He gather a few former basketball player and formed the Annual John McGuire Memorial Golf Outing. The 1st outing was in September of 2000.

    When legendary basketball coach Bob Letsch '61 retired. Jeff asked the Golf Committee to rename the McGuire Memorial to include Bob Letsch. The annual golf outing became the McGuire/Letsch Golf Scramble. Jeff has been a tireless volunteer in sustaining the golf outing which has raised over $300,000 for incoming SCHS Freshman.

Congratulations to Pat '77 & Mary Jo (Curty) '76 Diem's daughter Bridget

Bridget (Diem) Garnier '05 took 1st place in the Costa Rica (her residence) National Track & Field Meet last weekend in the 100 & 200 meter competition.

Bridget in now training for meet in Mexico in November.

Terry Toll scheduled for Cataract Surgery.


Lloyd Tremmel - dealing with health issues.

Good news, no Multiple Myeloma or MGUS. Waiting for results of additional test on Thyroid Cancer and/or return of Prostate Cancer.


Tom Miller's wife (Dan Miller's Mom) had recent back surgery now dealing with severe pain in her hip.


Dr Ron Kraus - doing well, in good spirits - going to PT


Chris Gorman got a new cast - in a few weeks he will get a walking boot.


Gary Schonert has a support on his right hand and a right leg boot is gone. He reports that fishing he screwed up his arm once again - back to the Doc for MRI


Ed DeMeulenaere has Bladder Cancer - no chemo required - monitoring closely
