BIG THANKS to Katie & Ed DeMeulenaere, Pat & George Gordon who sponsored today's luncheon. The menu consisted of your choice of Sub Sandwiches from Danny's Meats.

The Sub choices were Ham/Cheese, Roast Beef or Turkey with a side of American Potato Salad and Chips. Pat & Katie each brought their special homemade dessert - Pat brought Brownies & Katie brought a platter of Lemon Squares - DELICIOUS !!!.

Thanks also to Greg Emmrich '97, owner of Danny's Meats that provided a 20% discount on the Food. Please vote for Danny's Meats - "Best of Racine" in the Racine Journal.

• Prayers for Alumni & Friends dealing with Health issues:

  • Danny Moussaeu '74 is dealing with Kidney & Prostrate issues - will not be able to join his "74 Classmate for their 50th Reunion this weekend.

  • Jon Bassiandale Update: The surgery went well. Lots of bone spurrs on the inside of the spinal canal that were causing the severe stenosis.. doc said I should feel much better once I get past the surgical ramifications. He had to cut through several key core muscles so movements that require my core will be slow in coming back. Got discharged Wednesday afternoon. Trying to walk up and down the hall as much as possible and manage the bathroom and getting in and out of bed and resting. Not much sleeping. Making progress on all of the above tasks. It is tiring and tedious. I’m going to try to stop the pain meds because they are making me very hot and flushed

  • Joe Ingrasci has finished radiation treatments and will now start chemo treatments for his lung cancer, Pat

  • Marcia Pfost '66 H (Pat Nielsen's good friend) dealing with MAC infection (lung disease along with fluid in her lung) and edema in her legs & heart issues.

  • Jim Poulsen is upbeat and willing to visit. He hopes friends will call as well. 262-497-9249

  • Walt Strini is working out at Razor Sharp Fitness Center and getting stronger. Walt is hoping to get his Doc's OK, so he can return to working at Bristol Golf Course

  • Jack Kelley is home after a few days in the hospial with a reaction to some meds..

  • Dan Bentz apparently was attacked by his Garbage Dumpster - required 4 stitches to the top of his head - Stitches come out tomorrow - Dan will explain.

  • Lloyd Tremmel now has a splint on his thumb apparently his table saw attached his thumb and and broke it - Lloyd will explain.
